you cannot turn me against God

you cannot turn my passions against me

you cannot twist my talents into my insecurities

you cannot take my uniqueness and mesh it into weakness

you cannot take the blood in my veins and boil them

you cannot take the very passion that drives my heart and turn it against me

you do not have permission

you do not control me and you are not allowed to trick me

you will never have permission to twist my thoughts

my wondering & curiosity is not doubt, but rather is me digging into the deeper things of God

my words will not give you glory and my thoughts no longer have your time

my God is fully good and fully beautiful

my journey is with Him and Him alone

He is in me, and He is the One who loves me completely

I am empowered in Jesus and you are not worth a second of my time

I know who I am and to whom I belong

His name is Jesus. Beautiful One.

He is and always will be my first love

May these words forever be on my lips

Lord, You are my King and I Your daughter
